She's a Beauty

I live in New Mexico, and every year, during tarantula mating season, we see them all over. I have been around these amazing creatures for many years, as my son raised them when he was younger. I love their mystery and agility, and I find them fascinating. I felt compelled to paint this lovely lady when we saw her in our front yard recently. Mixed media on gallery-wrapped canvas 20"x20"x2".

A one-of-a-kind nature original celebrating New Mexico wildlife; a striking statement piece for collectors of southwest and insect art.
