Hi, I'm Kyle.

BIO

Kyle is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary artist with a career spanning more than 25 years. Every brush stroke is an act of faith and boldness. Creating is her solace. Kyle finds harmony in shape, color, texture, and form, creating layer upon layer with no plan.

Leaning into intuition and staying open to what wants to come forth in each new work, she allows herself to dive into a flow state where anything is possible. Her work often includes my trademark circular shapes made of large, colorful strokes and fine details of markmaking and illustrated components.

Kyle works and lives in New Mexico with her husband, a composer and producer, where they create, perform, and record their own music, offer sound healing, and meditations. Together they share a playful life with their two dogs, Scout and Foggy.

ARTIST STATEMENT

I paint what I think is beautiful and mysterious. A dragonfly, a flower, birds. Things we see every day, I bring into full focus, creating worlds within my subject and surroundings. I paint in layers, using a variety of mediums including acrylic, inks, oil, pastel, hand-made papers and wax. My signature elements of circles and ovals are simply the way I see and feel energy around me; the way it dances. I strive to capture that in my work.
